At the Unpacked conference, Samsung insisted at length on the partnership signed with Microsoft for the integration of Galaxy products with Windows 10, but also with the Xbox Game Pass. Samsung will even offer a Bluetooth game controller signed Moga that will be ideal to play xCloud.
Life is a story of opportunity. And the Unpacked conference organized today by Samsung (to present the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra) is further proof of this. Two events that were not necessarily related are now associated with the same announcement.

On the one hand, we have xCloud, Microsoft's streaming gaming service. Redmond's firm has officially announced the arrival of its service on September 21. The service will be available in the Xbox Game Ultimate Pass. And compatible controllers are even offered for pre-order (with a few months offered).
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra: a real game console?
On the other, we have the launch of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. A very high-end smartphone that the Korean brand hopes to position as a portable gaming console with its beautiful 6.9-inch AMOLED display 120 Hz,its Exynos 990,its 12GB of RAM and its 4500 mAh battery. During the presentation of the smartphone, Samsung regularly reminded that the Note 20 Ultra is as much a smartphone for work as for entertainment.
And how to have fun? Playing video games of course. And what could be better for that than to rely on a prominent video game player like Microsoft? Especially since Samsung and Microsoft are already strongly linked thanks to the many work of integrating Galaxy (S or Note) into the Windows 10 ecosystem. Integration that has taken another step with the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra (synchronization, secondary screen, information sharing, opening Android apps with Windows, etc.).
And here's how the two events come together. Samsung announces that the Note 20 Ultra will be a gaming console thanks to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes access to xCloud. The Korean firm announces the upcoming commercialization of a controller, the Moga XP5-X Plus powerA, which is also pre-ordered at Microsoft (and you can see in the photos that accompany this article). It has all the buttons needed to play an Xbox game. And his purchase entitles you to three months of Xbox Game Ultimate Pass subscription offered. But make no mistake: it's the three months that are on the market and the controller is offered. Because, thanks to this partnership, Samsung becomes a reseller of Microsoft's video game subscription. Simply.
