They carried around the hope for the next generation of the iPad
Apple, after the success of iPad Mini 7, is setting up the pace of new gen products that have lifted the consumer’s expectation to new heights. If you are not interested in the compactness of the iPad Mini and wouldn’t want to jump ship and pay the prices of the M4 iPad Pro, then you should know that Apple has got plans to launch a new iPad in the entry-level range.
A busy spring for Apple
Mind you, in his most recent weekly tech column, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman dropped hints on the entry-level 11th generation iPads. Of the products that Gurman mentioned in a blog post that focused mainly on the M4-toting MacBook Air, he said that Apple is plotting to refresh several of its products come spring next year.
The following products have also been impacted: iPhone SE 4; New iPad Air models ; A new twist on iPad keyboards; iPad 11. It is significant to point out that the new iPad Air models arrived at the least expected time considering that the company has already released iPad Air models with the M4 processor this last spring of the year.
A focus on performance
As part of its search for differentiation, Apple has introduced its most potent in-house chips into all of its new devices, and enables each product to harness Apple Intelligence, which needs a robust processor.
Now, the iPad has the earlier A14 Bionic SOC; on the other hand, the new iPhone sixteen series have the later A18 SOC. That is why now we will be able to see next year’s entry-level iPad with the A18.
Some rumours
Moreover, there are gossips for a new fancy and cheaper version of the Magic Keyboard meant specifically for the iPad Air and regular iPad. This accessory is expected to come into the market as the ipad 11 enters the market simultaneously.
As for the iPhone SE 4, it is expected to launch in early 2025. With the previous SE models launching in March, it would make sense for Apple to continue this momentum next year. “It wouldn’t be surprising if the iPad 11 launched at the same time, although it could get its own launch day, especially if Apple highlights new accessories.”
