The Galaxy S22 has already had some details revealed even before the release. But it seems that not everyone is satisfied with the displays ahead of time: Twitter has removed from the air a post with images of samsung’s next phone. The removal of the tweet on the social network was carried out after a complaint for copyright.
The report was made by the profile of the website LetsGoDigital, known for its leaks about smartphones from Samsung and other brands. “Samsung is not very happy with the publication of an official image of the Galaxy S22 family,” they stated in a tweet posted on Wednesday (29) at 6am. “A copyright claim was placed on the image and it was deleted by Twitter.”
The publication also reported that the social network even blocked the profile, but that the account was recovered shortly thereafter. Further down, there is a screenshot with the notice about the copyright claim. In the statement, there is information that the account has been blocked and the tweet has been deleted by Twitter.
“Your account was blocked because Twitter received a valid Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice about content posted to your Twitter account,” the statement said.
In response to another user, the specialized site also posted a link that leads to the deleted tweet image. It is a leaked poster on the last day 22 with the mention “Galaxy S22 Ultra” and a phone with a S Pen like the Galaxy Note. The possible conventional editing also appears in the image revealed by LetsGoDigital.
Although the report mentions Samsung, it is not possible to state accurately that the removal came from the manufacturer. In 2018, Twitter removed screenshots from Rede Globo and notified users of an alleged copyright infringement. The problem is that the broadcaster has not requested the overthrow of the content, since anyone can make this complaint – and that, apparently, are easily accepted.
The Galaxy S22 line represents Samsung’s next generation of premium phones. It is expected that three models will be announced in early 2022 with advanced technical data sheet led by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Exynos 2200. The Ultra edition should still gain space to store the S Pen.
