Huawei claims that the EMUI 10 update, based on Android 10, has been installed by 100 million smartphones worldwide. Despite U.S. sanctions and the coronavirus outbreak, the Chinese group managed to roll out the update on many compatible phones in its catalog in record time.
In a post on Sina Weibo, Huawei announces that the EMUI 10 update has been installed by 100 million users, report our colleagues at Huawei Central. As a reminder, the update had reached ten million users last December. A few weeks later, at the end of January, EMUI 10 was already exceeding 50 million installations. In two months, the update gained 50 million users.

Huawei rolls out EMUI 10 update faster than EMUI 9 in 2019
It took nearly three more months for the EMUI 9 update, based on Android 9 Pie, to reach 100 million installations. Pressed by the restrictions imposed by the Trump administration, Huawei has obviously gone to great lengths to offer the update on all promised smartphones.
Latest news, the Android overlay is compatible with about thirty Huawei and Honor devices. Among the latest smartphones to receive the firmware is the Mate X,Huawei's first foldable smartphone. The latter recently switched to Android 10 (in open source version, without Google's apps and services). Other examples include the Huawei P Smart Pro, which has just been updated in Europe, or the Mate 20 Lite.
Despite its efforts to offer updates on as many models as possible, Huawei has been forced to exclude some smartphones from its deployment schedule, such as the Mate 9 released in 2016, or the Honor 9 Lite. For your part, have you been able to install EMUI 10 on your smartphone? We are waiting for your testimony in the comments.
