A (very blurry) photo of what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just appeared on the Internet. Despite the poor quality of this photo, we discover that the successor to the Galaxy Fold would seem to carry both the same camera as the Galaxy S20 Plus, while being available in "Mystic Bronze" colors.
Two new photos of what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 appeared on the Ice Universe Twitter page a few hours ago. The first photo, too blurry to be analyzed, precedes a second one, with a definition this time more correct (well almost). Even so, these images give you an idea of what the Future Foldable Phablet of the Korean giant, which is about to make its appearance at the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for August 5, 2020, might look like.
The Galaxy Fold 2 would have a larger screen than the one released in 2019
The image reveals an exterior screen significantly larger than the first Samsung Galaxy Fold, as well as a rear camera module that looks closely or remotely like the one that equips the Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy S20 Plus. According to ETNews, Samsung is said to have relied on a triple back-to-back photo sensor, consisting of a 12-megapixel wide-angle main module,a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. The overall look — besides the color, which strongly recalls the "Mystic Bronze" of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra — does not seem so different from the first model.
As a reminder, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 should be offered at a price close to the Galaxy Fold, a price close to 2000 euros. According to information relayed by the Korean press in mid-June, the Galaxy 2 Fold 2 should also be built around a foldable screen of 7.7 inches and 120 Hz ultra-thin(Ultra Thin Glass). At the time, there were also rumors about a 6.23-inch secondary screen in AMOLED.
We will be fixed anyway soon since Samsung confirmed the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 for August 5, alongside the Galaxy Note 20, at the Unpackedconference.
