A combination of 5 technologies
To achieve this feat, ZTE has combined five distinct technologies. First, the manufacturer used a special material composed of organic and inorganic materials,so that as much light as possible could reach the lens. The second and third technologies form a dual control and a"single control circuit" that work together to"synchronize the display" and avoid interference.
Then the smartphone uses a system called"special matrix" to maintain pixels, and thus ensure a consistent display between the use of the camera and the return to normal use. And finally, ZTE has developed for the occasion a unique algorithm to improve the quality of the photos taken by this sensor under the screen.

A still-mysterious fact sheet
Note that ZTE will not be alone for long to offer smartphones with this technology. Huawei has already announced that it is working on a smartphone with a sensor under the screen, while Xiaomi has just filed a patent revealing the design of its device. Regarding the technical sheet, ZTE gave some information on this subject.
Thus, the Axon 20 5G will benefit from a Snapdragon 765G processor, a SoC that can be found in the OnePlus North or the Motorola Edge. Then the device will be powered by a 4220 mAhbattery, compatible with the 30W fast charge. On the photo side, users will have a 64MP main sensor, capable of filming in 4K 60 FPS and HDR compatible.
ZTE has remained silent on the amount of RAM, storage capacity, battery life and many other key elements. The Axon 20 5G will be available in four colours: black, blue, purple and orange. At the moment, no release date and no prices have been communicated.
