Instagram revolutionizes interaction with Stories
Instagram, the social media giant, is evolving once again, introducing a comment feature for its famous “Stories”. Previously limited to direct message replies, this new feature gives users a more visible way to interact with their friends’ posts.
Comments visible only on your Story
According to a representative for Meta, Instagram’s parent company, comments will not be received in direct messages. They will only be visible on the user’s Story. This new feature gives Stories a new dimension of interaction, making exchanges between users more dynamic and transparent.
Adaptable privacy settings
Comments can be turned on or off for each individual post. When enabled, they are visible to all followers in an account, but only mutual contacts can leave comments. As with the Story post type, comments disappear after 24 hours. Small profile pictures of commenters will appear at the bottom of a person’s Story icon, letting the user know if there are any comments attached before clicking to view the post.
New options to customize your Stories
Instagram doesn’t just introduce comments in Stories. The platform also gives its users more and more ways to personalize their Stories. Posts can now be created using customizable templates, get an AI-generated background, or use a growing number of interactive stickers.
In conclusion, with these new features, Instagram continues to strengthen its leading position in the world of social media.
