This week, Sony reintroduced its LinkBuds range of true wireless earphones.
New product releases appeared for the first time in the LinkBuds line in 2022; however, link buds are a value line with a strong basis. Now, these headphones with an original, effective and, perhaps, too aggressive design are ready to make a comeback with an all-new, more attractive design while focusing on comfort and customization.

The LinkBuds 2024 series brings together three new products: These are the LinkBuds Open, the LinkBuds Fit, and the LinkBuds Speaker.
Sony is leaving behind the Headphones Connect application in favor of the Sound Connect application that contains a redesigned user interface and a list of new features for the users.
Enhancements to give the consumers the best experience ever
The LinkBuds Fit is the successor to the Sony LinkBuds S of yesteryear, utilizing both ANC and auto-optimization on a brand new dynamic X driver and an integrated processor. At the same time, the new LinkBuds Open takes Sony’s in-ear innovations up a notch with an eight-hour battery, and enhanced bass through the new V2 integrated processor and ring driver.
Sony’s new LinkBuds range is also available for preorder today, with the full launch coming next week. The new LinkBuds Speaker costs $179, with the LinkBuds Fit, Open just $199 which is only $20 higher than the Bose QuietComfort headphones.
Unique open design
The Sony LinkBuds Open has a rather nice design, but at first sight, the earphones may seem uncomfortable to wear. These new LinkBuds have also been made round with the buckle part attached at the base of the bud section which is designed to fit into the ear canal.
The LinkBuds Fit and Open are out today and can be pre-ordered at $199, as for the LinkBuds Speaker it is also available at $179.
