Super NES Classic: Nintendo unveils a video trailer to make nostalgics cry

Nintendo today unveiled a video trailer for the Super NES Classic, the miniature version of the famous 90s console. The opportunity to review the best games of the time and discover the features of this new machine.

A few months ago, Nintendo released the NES Classic Edition, a miniature version of the famous NES console originally released in 1983. This mini console, allowing users to replay the great classics of the time in the conditions of yesteryear, met with a meteoric success, to the point of quickly finding itself out of stock.

So it's no surprise that Nintendo decided to announce the SNES Classic Edition, a miniature version of the 1990 Super Nintendo. We are talking about one of the most adored games of all time, rich in a catalog dotted with timeless classics like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Final Fantasy VI or Chrono Trigger.  To say that this mini version is expected is therefore an understatement.

Super NES Classic: Different games for the Japanese version

While waiting for the launch of this product, Nintendo today unveils a six-minute video trailer for the SNES Classic Edition. The video features the best super nes games, arranged in chronological order. We also discover the interface of the SNES Classic and a new feature to go back to avoid the game over. Faced with the difficulty of the games of yesteryear, this new option will surely not be too much.

Note that this is more precisely a trailer for the Super Famicom Classic, the Japanese version of the machine. This version will offer different games compared to european version. Therefore, if you want to be able to play all the Nintendo games of the time, you will have to get your hands on this Japanese version, which may prove difficult unless you live there.

The Super Nes Classic and Super Famicom Classic will be on the market at the end of the year, and are likely to be quickly out of stock, even though Nintendo promises to increase production compared to the Nes Classic. If you are interested, it is therefore better to hurry to pre-order the SNES Classic.
