The long-awaited Apple Vision Pro mixed reality glasses are expected to hit the market in early 2024. So, the big tech has already sent communications to official stores and select retailers in the United States informing them about carrying out a special training of the new device.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed that the training sessions are expected to take place in the first months of 2024. According to the information, the selected professionals will participate in an exclusive meeting at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
The statement cites that the Vision Pro training is an opportunity for salespeople with a “deep passion for showcasing Apple products and teaching people.” However, there are no details about the duration and content of the training.
Gurman suggests that meetings at the Cupertino headquarters will be limited to a select few Apple Store and retailer employees. It would be a strategy by the manufacturer to prevent important information about the VR glasses from leaking ahead of time.
The memo says that the professionals selected for the Vision Pro training will be responsible for passing on product knowledge to shop colleagues. Thus, all salespeople must be prepared to guide customers through the launch.

Gurman previously disclosed that the launch of the Apple Vision Pro should happen with a scheduling system. “Personalized service” in a dedicated area should include testing with the special lenses of the VR glasses and a facial scan of customers.

Few people have had access to the equipment so far. The consultation will be important for those who wear prescription glasses.
The big tech has already confirmed that the device will hit the market for US$ 3,499. The high price tag can be justified by the innovative technology that the headset promises to deliver to users.
Apple’s recent announcement about the Vision Pro training contradicts expectations that the product would hit the market in January 2024. However, the premiere is still expected to take place in the first half of next year.
