Meta improves Threads’ integration into fediverse
The recently announced update may enhance Threads – an online chat app developed by Meta, the owner of Facebook – to better integrate with the fediverse – a series of separate decentralized social media platforms. For the last year, Threads at Meta have been striving to enhance integration with the fediverse reliably.

Earlier, Threads enabled individuals to get notifications of replies from the Mastodon and other servers in the fediverse, or about post likes. For that matter, one could never view a Threads user’s details about his or her individual subscribers from these services. This new update is a game changer.
