After you offered different benchmarks of the LG G4, here are the first battery tests of the latest Korean phone. Like its predecessor, it has a 3000 mAh battery and a 5.5-inch screen of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Thus, the only factors that can improve battery life are in the Snapdragon 808 processor and the possible software optimizations made by LG.

The LG G4 in plastic "metal" effect
With its 3000 mAh battery, the LG G4 offers a capacity greater than its competitors of the moment such as the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge or the HTC One M9 which nevertheless displays superior endurance thanks to its Full HD 1080p display. Where it's more worrying is that the range of LG's latest flagship is less than that of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge while it offers 450 mAh more than the classic model and 400 mAh more than the curved model.
That said, Samsung's optimizations with its latest Exynos 7420 chip engraved in 14 nanometers clearly allow its two flagships to rise above the competition in terms of battery life, without offering a monstrous battery.
Where Samsung's last two flagships manage to hold more than seven and eight hours respectively, arriving just after the Xperia Z3 and Galaxy Note 4, the LG G4 has a battery life of only 6 hours and 6 minutes when running the Phonearena script. So he comes last just after the G3 which beats him by a few minutes.
In terms of charging time, no miracle either because it will take no less than two hours and seven minutes to fully recharge its battery against 2 hours for the G3. It arrives before last just before the Xperia Z3 and gets beaten flat cost by the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. As we had seen, the LG G4 does not benefit from the Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging but only a fast charger of 1.8 Ampers signed LG as was already the case with the G3.
