Since we know that LG's next flagship could most likely be the G5, rumors have continued to swell about it. The latest, more accurate, provides us with information about the phone's model name and operating system. That would be the LG-H830.
- LG G5: release date, price and fact sheet
At the root of this speculation is a photo showing the user's profile of a new LG phone. Obviously, we don't know which phone it is. But as can be seen in the image, the number of the model of the device is the LG-H830. To date, this model number does not correspond to any LG smartphone on the market. On the other hand, it seems to be in the continuity of the model numbers of the LG G4.
Indeed, the LG G4 had the following model numbers: LG-H810, LG-H811, LG-H812 and LG-H815. It is therefore logical to infer that the LG-H830 may well be the model number of the LG G5. But that’s not all.
In the image, we can also see that the Android version of the phone is the latest, Marshmallow 6.0. It is under this OS that should appear all the "majeurs" phones of 2016, including, of course, the LG G5.
By combining these two pieces of information, we can say that we are certainly getting a little closer to the truth about the Korean manufacturer's next flagship phone. Previous reports indicated a possible modular design with removable battery, a dual rear photo sensor, a fingerprint reader and iris to name but a few. We should know more at the next MWC show in Barcelona on 22 February 2016.
