Inside this large box, we find the LG G5, the LG 360 Cam camera and the LG Cam Plus and Hifi Plus modules packaged in their respective packaging. When unpacking the smartphone, no great surprise, we find the device, a manual of use that will explain in particular how to replace the removable battery, a USB Type C sector charger supporting the fast charging and the tool to remove the SIM drawer and access the micro slot SD.
The LG Cam Plus photo module that we were able to take in hand at MWC 2016 is also part of the game. A case that clips onto the LG G5's magic slot and offers several physical buttons for the camera's manual controls. It also incorporates a 1200 mAh battery that will extend the phone's battery life, initially provided by a battery of 2800 mAh.
For its part, the LG 360 Cam seems to display a rather ergonomic form factor. It holds in the hand, which will make its use easier but can also fit on a table or other flat surface. There is also a case that will protect it. Like Samsung's, it incorporates two 180-degree lenses that will ensure 360-degree shooting.
Designed in partnership with B-O Play, a subsidiary of Bang-Olufsen, the LG Hifi Plus will improve the phone's sound quality. It incorporates a DAC Sabre ES9028C2M and its Sabre9602c amplifier that will allow it to produce a high-definition sound in 24bit/192kHz. Why didn't you include this feature directly within the phone? We're still wondering.
