Switch: Nintendo introduces LABO, self-mounting cardboard accessory kits!

by Jerry

Nintendo Switch owners were invited to a unique interactive experience on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11 p.m. Nintendo Japan's official Twitter account launched the event. It was aimed primarily at Japanese children, but in the end, Nintendo's French branch shared the announcement of the event. And a developer at Ubisoft Montreuil has assured that this new interactive experience will break the internet!

Update:
Nintendo presents its new project in connection with the Switch: Nintendo LABO. These are cardboard accessory kits that children (and big children!) can assemble themselves! All necessary will be included in the box. Of course, the interest lies in the fact that they will be connectable to the Switch. They will offer a unique experience to the players. Two packs will be available from Friday, April 27, 2018. The Multi Kit will allow you to ride a remote-controlled car, a small piano, a fishing rod but also a house and a motorcycle! The Robot Kit will allow… to create your own robot! Prices are not yet available in France. But in Japan, the Multi Kit is advertised at around 50 euros. And the Robot Kit at about 60 euros.

The Nintendo Switch will benefit from a new Nintendo Direct, just one week after the Nintendo Direct Mini which was the focus of Switch porting. Broadcast on January 11, 2018, it announced, among other things, the Final Mix of the excellent The World Ends with You, a new album by Kirby: Star Allies or the porting of the very hard Dark Souls. So it's hard to know what Nintendo wants to present in its new interactive experiencetonight.

The Nintendo Switch at the heart of a new interactive experience tonight

Nintendo Japan's Twitter account announces a new interactive event to be held tonight. The appointment is given to the Japanese children, since the presentation will be held at 7am for them. But Nintendo's French arm has confirmed that the broadcast is aimed at all Nintendo Switch owners. So we can follow the live tonight, starting at 11 p.m. However, no information has been leaked about the content of this presentation.

Will it be a new game? Or a new accessory, like the Wii Fit a few years ago? Or new features? Could it be that this announcement has something to do with the Yuzu emulator that will soon allow you to play Nintendo Switch games on PC? The wildest speculation is ongoing. And Ubi-PandaR0o, developer of Ubisoft Montreuil does not soothe the spirits on Twitter! In a tweet, in English, he assures that something related to Nintendo is happening… and that it will "break the internet"!

To follow the new interactive experience announced by Big N for the Switch, just go to Nintendo's website tonight, starting at 11 p.m.
