IS has started to deploy its “AI Studio”, which is a set of tools that help the content producers on Instagram use AI to interact with the audience. This tool, which appeared in the concept of facilitating communication between authors and their followers, was introduced a few time ago by using the test option with several people before it was expanded in the United States, where the authors will be able to create their virtual clone.

As per Meta, the new AI tools are supposed to address the main issue relevant to creators having a large following. With this technology, they will be able to create an AI that will function as an “extension of themselves” as Connor Hayes, vice president of the Product, AI Studio at Meta. Chats with new AI characters will indeed have a warning: “Certain of the messages created with the help of AI might be either misleading or even obscene”.
Zuckerberg believes that the broad usage of AI will be created by users.
Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta, is ambitious: speaking to Bloomberg recently, he claimed that he believes there will be, ultimately, “hundreds of millions” of created AIs within Meta applications.
Whether these creator AIs will be actually useful, remains questionable though. Another experiment done by Meta and involving avatars of celebrities by introducing the main chatbots such as Snoop Dogg or Kendall Jenner could not achieve the desired result, since these “characters” turned out to be rather disappointing to users.
It will also become possible to create a chatbot even for those users who are not IT-professionals.
However, the AI Studio will not be for the creators alone as has been highlighted above. In the same year Meta will introduce ‘bots’ where any user will be free to create an AI personality that can speak on any topic to a particular individual or even offer counsel. Recently, new possibilities emerged that allow the creation of more complex AI comrades; however, Meta was inept at expressing some specific information through its AI in the past.
