The Huawei P40 would be equipped with a fast recharging of 65W. A charger compatible with this new technology would also be included in the smartphone box, reveals a leak from China. This is also the case for the Huawei Mate Xs, the second 5G foldable smartphone from the Chinese brand.
The photo of a 65W fast charger appeared on Sina Weibo, report our colleagues at Huawei Central. According to the user behind the leak, the charger will be provided directly in the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro box. Currently, the Huawei Mate X 5G is the firm's only smartphone to be compatible with 65 Watt charging. The foldable smartphone, on the other hand, comes with a 55W charger.
For their part, the Huawei P30, P30 Pro, Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro still have to settle for a fast recharging of 40 W. A charger compatible with the SuperCharge 40W is included in the box. Currently, the 40W recharge allows you to fully fill the battery of a P30 Pro in 60 minutes. If the leak is confirmed, Huawei has obviously decided to strengthen its game in the field of recharging. The firm will then compete with Oppo's SuperVOOC 65W fast charging. With this unique technology, Oppo promises to charge a smartphone 100% in just 25 minutes. A quick 65W refill for the Foldable Huawei Mate Xs
According to Huawei Central, the 5G variant of the Mate Xs, the firm's second foldable smartphone, will also benefit from the 65W fast charging. The latest news is that the flagship is expected to hit the market in March 2020,probably at the same time as the P40.
