Huawei announces that the EMUI 10 update has already been installed by 50 million users worldwide. Despite the US embargo, many Huawei or Honor smartphones have already been able to install the new version of the Android overlay. In the process, the manufacturer launched the final version of the firmware on the Honor 10 and View 10.
EMUI 10 has just passed the 50 million user mark, report our colleagues at Huawei Central on January 21, 2020. Huawei has just announced the news in a statement published on Chinese social networks.
As a reminder, the EMUI 10 update had reached one million users by the end of last November. The milestone of 10 million users was then reached on December 20, 2019. In the space of a month, the number of users of the firmware has increased fivefold. Figures published by the manufacturer probably also include participants in the EMUI 10 beta program.

Over the past 30 days, Huawei has pushed the update on many smartphones internationally, including several mid-range such as the P30 Lite or the Honor 8x. In recent weeks, the manufacturer has also been forced to suspend the rollout of the update on selected models: Mate 20, Honor 20 and Honor View 20. Similarly, some phones listed in the deployment calendar will eventually be deprived of Android 10.
THE EMUI 10 update now lands on the Honor 10 and View 10
In parallel to this announcement, Huawei has begun rolling out the EMUI 10 update on the Honor 10 and Honor View 10 in some European countries, including Italy. We can expect that Android 10 will be offered in the coming days in France. As always, you are advised to check regularly if the firmware is available by going to System and then Software Update. Have you ever been able to install EMUI 10? We are waiting for your testimony in the comments.
