LG G4s: benchmark confirms Snapdragon 615 and Full HD display

While we thought it had appeared in January 2015, the LG G4s is slowly starting to get the word out, since after the first image and possible features, the smartphone was seen on GFXBench. This time, no mistake is possible, it is indeed the LG G4s, the mid-range smartphone that will offer a design very close to its big brother, the G4.

Thus, and as rumors echoed, the LG G4s will have a 5.2-inch Full HD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a density of 424ppi. The smartphone would be well equipped witha Snapdragon 615 octo-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. On the camera side, you'll have to settle for an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Note that it will be possible to record in 1080p with both cameras.

Unfortunately, GFXBench gives no indication as to the battery capacity and available storage space, so you will have to be a little patient before you know the smallest details of the G4s. There is still a good chance that the smartphone will arrive with 16GB of internal memory, and a battery slightly higher than that of the LG G3s which was only 2540 mAh.

As for the price, again this is an unknown, but according to the latest corridor noises, the G4s should be available as early as the second half of August, just as the G3s was released in August 2014, which would force LG to announce its new mid-range as early as July, again following the G3s scheme. It would not be very long before we know the smallest details of the LG G4s, including its price.
