A recently published sales report is a blow for the manufacturer LG, which sees its economic projections somewhat swept away. Sales of the LG G4 failed to reach a satisfactory pace, capping at 3,500 or even 3800 units per day.

Since its launch last April, the latest flagship of the LG fleet, the LG G4 has sold about 240,000 copies in South Korea, a score too low compared to that of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge reaching 1.3 million copies. This is worrying because this latest flagship LG is also sold internationally, is it suffering the same fate in other countries?
Such a scenario would be quite catastrophic for the Korean manufacturer whose sales projections are set at 70 million copies in 2015, a quantity that is supposed to be mainly carried by the G4. Korean asset managers have already revised down the company's earnings estimates for the second quarter. A drop of about $40 million.
LG could, however, have a secret boot because lately, rumors are arding about a smartphone superior to the G4 that could see the light of day. There is also talk of the LG G Pro 3 with a 6-inch Quad-HD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor and an iris scanner.
For now, the time is pretty serious for the South Korean firm. It's about taking the shock and starting again. However, if the company is still keen to reach the 70 million originally planned, there is no doubt that they will have to make a product that will be successful, and the LG G Pro 3 does not seem sufficiently tailored to arrange such badly parted cases.
Another solution, perhaps the most logical and reasonable, would be to accept a defeat and therefore revise its sales projections downwards. Samsung's much better party than LG recently had to do so for its sales of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but it has another product to relaunch itself, the Galaxy Note 5.
