Xbox Live Gold subscribers are spoiled in August 2018. As every month, Microsoft offers several games to users of the service and the selection is this time particularly tasty. Xbox One players are eligible for the excellent Forza Horizon 2 and For Honor, while Dead Space 3 and Epic Mickey: Return of Heroes are available for free on Xbox 360.
Microsoft is offering a lot of heavy weight for Xbox Live Gold subscribers this August 2018. Xbox One players will be able to collect two quality titles with the Car Racing Game Forza Horizon 2 and the production of Ubisoft For Honor. The first can be acquired from August 1 to 31, while the second will be available from August 16 to September 15.

On the Xbox 360 side, we are spoiled also since the FPS Dead Space 3 is part of the selection of the month. You will have 15 days to get it back, from August 1 to 15. It is no longer new but still very interesting. Finally, the last free game of the month is Epic Mickey: Return of Heroes, which will be suitable for fans of platform games. It will be available from August 16 to 31.
So here we have a very good vintage after a more disappointing july 2018. The Assault Android Cactus games (available until July 31) and Death Squared (available until August 15) were available on Xbox One, as well as Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown (more available) and Splinter Cell Conviction (available until July 31) on 360. We are now waiting for the "new hardware" promised by Microsoft for Xbox and which should arrive in August as well.
