The Cappy hat put forward
This new extract heralds real potential and the license seems to be part of the continuity of Super Mario Galaxy, which had appeared on the Wii. This episode should also make the nostalgic of Super Mario 64 happy. Nintendo also seems to have chosen to have a special role and to make the Cappy hat very present. You can use Cappy as a weapon, a projectile by throwing it at your enemies and objects while turning Mario into Bullet Bill.
Like Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Odyssey will offer a wide variety of universes. You can see a city that looks like something like New York. Mexico and Egypt also seem to be on the agenda. A snowy night map will also be part of the game and suggests a nod to the film "The Strange Christmas of Mr. Jack". The small disappointment concerns its most loyal enemy, Bowser, for whom Nintendo chose to keep a cannon flying ship; Nintendo could have made an extra effort on this subject.
