Huawei will launch a P40 Lite in March 2020. According to a leaker, the Chinese manufacturer would simply recycle the design and technical sheet of the Nova 6 SE, a mid-range smartphone recently released on the Chinese market.
According to chinese leaker Teme, the Huawei P40 Lite and Nova 6 SE are just one smartphone. In a tweet published on December 11, the leaker lifts the veil on the most accessible variant of the P40 in a rendering.
This is not really a surprise given the brand's habits. Huawei often markets the same smartphone under a different name in several markets. The firm generally opts for a nomenclature reserved for China and an appellation for Europe.
On the technical side,we can expect the P40 Lite to be covered with a 6.4-inch lcd screen. Like the Nova 6 SE, the smartphone would be powered by the SoC Kirin 810 coupled with 6GB of RAM. The battery would be given the battery life of 4200 mAh compatible with the 40W fast charging.
The P40 Lite would also be accompanied by a quadruple photo sensor consisting of a 48MP main module, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and two other 2MP modules. In the hole in the slab is a 16MP selfie sensor. The latest news is that the smartphone will be deprived of Google apps and the Play Store.

No graphene battery?
In a later tweet, Teme returns to a rumor that appeared earlier this week regarding the Huawei P40 Pro. According to information from the leaker Yash Raj Chaudhary, the P40 Pro would be powered by a 5500 mAh graphene battery. For his part, Teme believes that this is "very unlikely".
