The Huawei P40 Pro continues to make headlines. The first official images of the special ceramic edition have just appeared on the canvas. Huawei has obviously decided to take inspiration from the look of the Galaxy S10 ceramic released last year.

On January 17, 2020, Evan Blass, a renowned leaker from the smartphone world, posted on his Twitter account the first official renderings of the Huawei P40 Pro ceramic. "Apparently, Huawei is such a fan of the premium ceramic variant of the Galaxy S10 that its next P40 Pro will follow its example" laughs Evan Blass.
Last year, Samsung released an ultra-premium edition of the Galaxy S10 with a ceramic back rather than glass. This edition was sold several hundred euros more expensive (up to 600 euros depending on the storage chosen) than the other variants.
Like Samsung, Huawei will offer ceramic publishing in only two colours: black and white. Moreover, the design of the smartphone does not change one iota. There is a holed screen surrounded by thin curved borders and a rectangular photo block at the back with a total of five photo sensors designed in partnership with Leica.

In addition to the ceramic edition, Huawei will offer the P40 and P40 Pro in the following colors: black, gold, silver grey, dark blue and glacier white.
