The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is revealed! A few days before the official presentation on September 1st, a reputable informant released the complete technical sheet of Samsung's third foldable smartphone.
True to his reputation, Roland Quandt, journalist of the website WinFuture, published the complete technical sheet of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 over the weekend. Given the impressive history of Quandt, we can rely on this new massive leak.

Screen 120 Hz, Snapdragon 865 and triple photo sensor… here's the Galaxy Z Fold 2
Unsurprisingly, the smartphone is built arounda 7.6-inch AMOLED Infinity-O foldable 120 Hz. On the outside, Samsung incorporates a secondary screen dedicated to notifications. This AMOLED slab measures 6.2 inches and has a refresh rate of 60 Hz. This is enough given the use of the screen. This secondary slab is reserved for contextual information (SMS, time, emails…).
As was the case with the Galaxy Z Flip, the manufacturer uses an ultra thin glass (Ultra Thin Glass) to protect the foldable screen. According to media reports, Samsung includes an additional plastic protective film to protect the screen. This layer of plastic should probably not be removed by the user, at the risk of damaging the slab.
The foldable smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Samsung entrusts the device's battery life to two batteries with a total of 4500 mAh. According to WinFuture, the terminal has a battery life of around 31 hours when it is confined to 4G. Like the first Galaxy Fold, the phone offers a battery life that exceeds the day. The Z Fold 2 is compatible with 25W wired fast charging, 11W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
On the photo side, Samsung is banking on a triple photo sensor consisting of an ultra Wide 12-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel wide-angle module and a final 12-megapixel sensor. In the hole in the foldable screen, there is a camera for 10-megapixel selfies.
